BIOS

The bio-intelligent DBTL cycle, a key enabler catalysing the industrial transformation towards sustainable biomanufacturing.

Funding period:

01.10.2022 - 30.09.2026

Project description:

The BIOS project supports the establishment of a circular bio economy by implementing a biointelligent "design-build-test-learn" (DBTL) cycle for strain and bioprocess engineering. The power will be showcased by creating P. putida producer strains for terpenes, polyolefines, and methylacrylate.
