Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) of the MSCA-ITN SECRET, coordinated by Prof. Angelika Hausser (apl.) from the Institute of Cell Biology and Immunology at the University of Stuttgart, participated in a two-day event organized at one of the program’s beneficiaries, the Medical University of Innsbruck. In their third year of doctoral work, H2020 SECRET-ITN young researchers have met at the Biocenter in Innsbruck for the EMBO Solutions GmbH workshop on “Communicating Research”, kindly hosted by Prof. Hesso Farhan. The course was focusing on research paper writing, the submission and review process, as well as presenting one’s own research in posters, short talks and flash presentations. MSCActions aim to prepare bright ESRs for successful careers beyond their PhD program. For this reason, such transferrable skills workshops are an important part of the network training program. The motivated ESRs were delighted to meet in person and to participate in the interactive course led by the highly competent trainer, Dr Céline Carret.
