One of the cornerstones from which the SRCSB draws its strength is collaboration across traditional disciplinary boundaries. The SRCSB supports these interactions at all levels of research and teaching. In response to the call for proposals for 2023, two theses were nominated that are the result of active collaborative research between two institutions, under the joint supervision of SRCSB members, and are thematically relevant to systems biology. The SRCSB Board of Directors has reviewed these theses and awarded the prizes to Johanna Lang and Karen Kresbach for their interdisciplinary work. Congratulations!
